Interlocking Floor Tile
The interlocking floor tile is increasingly being used as a flooring option for home garages, industrial walkways and for commercial trade shows and other such events. These floor tiles are perhaps the most rapid and the easiest way to create visually appealing, moisture resistant finished floors.
The tiles used for interlocking floors are made of tough, durable plastic. These tiles allow mud or water to drain through, which makes them perfect for use in short term outdoor events like trade shows. The surface of the locking floor tile is usually ½” higher than the ground level.
The interlocking floor tile can be installed over any kind of flat, clean surface including contaminated, dampened and uncured concrete floors. The tiles use a patented hidden interlocking system to produce a secure, water resistant floor. A simple “overlap and tap” technique is used to place together interlocking edges. No adhesives, tools or expertise is required.
The locking flooring tiles can withstand loads of up to 500 psi and are backed by a five-year warranty. The tiles are 18”x18”x¼” in size and weigh 3.5 pounds each. The interlocking tiles are available n virgin PVC as well as 100% post industrial recycled PVC.
The interlocking floor tile comes in four surface profiles, namely stud, marquis, diamond and smooth. The tiles are available in eight colors – blue, red, teal, taupe, black, light gray, dark gray and white. The interlocking tiles are comfortable and resist noise, dust and humidity. They can be easily removed and re-laid when needed.
The interlocking tiles are slip resistant and are not damaged by impact, fire, chemical, stains or automotive fluids. The interlocking flooring tiles are 100% recyclable, easy to maintain and perfect for basement floors. No wonder they are becoming increasingly popular with customers because of their varied style and immense durability.
