Harmonics Laminate Flooring – The unlimited advantages
Harmonics laminate flooring provides unlimited advantages over solid wooden
floors. Harmonic laminates like other laminated floorings, is synthetic
flooring made to replicate natural wood, stone or tile. Harmonic floorings
come in a wide variety of patterns and designs and are even available with
antique looks.
Laminate flooring is actually a composite of many layers of thick and water
resistant core material. The top layer is the decorative layer, which is
made waterproof and spill resistant to increase durability. Harmonics
laminate floors can be installed on any flat surface like sheet vinyl
flooring, concrete slab, plywood or hardwood flooring.
Laminated floors have some obvious advantages over solid hard wood. They are
much easier to maintain. They can be cleaned by simple mopping or sweeping,
are virtually resistant to spills, stains of crayons or nail polishes,
water, wax, grease and are hence the best choice for homes with kids and
pets. They combine the elegance of wood flooring with the convenience of
synthetic flooring.
Harmonic laminates are very easy to install and contractors for installing
the floors can be hired. Harmonic floors come in a wide range of patterns,
colors and designs. Hence, you have a lot to choose from. They are long
lasting and elegant. To top it all the prices are much cheaper compared to
solid hardwood flooring.
You have to follow certain simple rules to care for your laminate floors.
Damp mop the floors, never wet mop them. Wet moping can cause water puddles
to seep down and damage the floor. Vacuum and sweep regularly to keep dirt
away. Avoid grime by using mats at entry points.
Do not use acrylic or wax floor finishes. Use stain removal products
recommended by the manufacturer like acetone and mineral spirits. Avoid
causing abrasions to the floor and use glide buttons under the furniture.
