Metallic Laminates – Durable and Affordable
The metallic laminates are best described as decorative laminates that add a touch of
daintiness and elegance to the floors. This daintiness should not be
mistaken for a weakness of metallic laminate flooring. Durability, in
fact is a common feature of all laminates and these metallics are no
exception. A metallic laminated floor exudes grandeur and is, at the
same time, a great respite from frequent replacement needs.
Aluminium-finish laminates were the original metallics introduced in the
laminate flooring segment. These were generally used in either with wood
or with other metals like stainless steel, brass and copper. The use of
these laminates was limited to tabletops, countertops and walls. The
recent generations of metallics, however, are available in plenty of
colors and patterns. As regards colors, the metallic flooring laminates
are available in lighter as well as darker shades of hues. The varied
designs – checkerboards, dots, embossed, perforated, wavy and a plethora
of other exquisite and interesting designs, proffer you enough choices
for your flooring needs. Tinted laminates are another good option before
you.
Looks apart, the metallic-finish laminate flooring sheets have many
other attributes. Your metallic finish laminate floors will undoubtedly
floor every beholder except you, for you get them at unbelievably low costs. Ease of installation, ease of
cleaning, resistance to stains, spills and scratches make them the
perfect flooring option. The floor surfaces do not require frequent
re-doings. Hence, much of unnecessary expenses on the flooring head are
curtailed.
Like all laminates, the metallics need the least of maintenance. Harsh
solutions, scratchy materials and things, which are able to dent the
floor, should be best avoided. Following a simple maintenance regimen
like removing every bit of moisture from the floor surface, regular
sweeping and dry mopping, wiping away all spills is enough to keep the
metallics lustrous and exquisitely beautiful.
